Writing Challenge: Fall Trees


at first, they are beautiful and young
then they start to change
different colors,
different feelings,
different perspectives
leaves drift to the ground 
and other leaves grow
as if they are a person's memories 
some are forgotten, 
yet others are made
Fall trees stay strong 
throughout the fall 
because they know that spring is around the corner 
people stay strong 
in difficult times
because they know that the future is brighter.
